FAMILY OF YESTERYEAR

     In America of yesteryear, you paid your debts on time, and
went without to do so.  You spent less than you earned and
wanted your government to do the same thing.

     You disciplined your children, but disciplined yourself first.  You went 
to church services regularly and took your
children to Bible classes.

     You would have been horrified at (and quick to change)
any men in high places who made "deals."  You expected to
prosper only by doing a better job.

     That was the character which brought this great country
victory in the last three wars, built it back from a shattering
depression, and fed and saved the civilized world (materially).

     Are there enough of these righteous standards left to do
