[Biblemat] X-SPAM- Poem, When Things Go Wrong

This poem is something I believe we should all think about and consider if
or when we should find ourselves in such a situation.  It is much easier to
teach the religion of Christ than it is to practice it. Our tendency is to
strike out and to retaliate or try and get even when wronged or
misunderstood. Trying to set the record straight is one thing, returning
evil for evil is yet another and isn't the proper route to travel. Ken
When Things Go Wrong

When things go wrong as they sometimes do;
What should the faithful Christian to do?
When you’ve been totally misunderstood
Can you conduct yourself as tried and true?
When misrepresentation has done damage;
When your reputation is up for review;
When you need to do some damage control,
Just what can the faithful Christian do?
We know the story of the "second mile;"
As taught by Jesus our perfect example;
But it’s hard to walk that second long mile;
When your reputation has been so trampled!
One can expect such from the outside world;
Those who resent your stand for the Lord;
But when such comes from those within;
Then such causes confusion and discord!
We’re talking about a total misunderstanding;
When the offended party honestly believes;
That you have done them some great wrong;
And they are within their rights to be aggrieved!
If you say "I didn’t do or say what you think,"
Then the problem is only greatly exacerbated;
Although innocent of the charge that’s made;
You’ll have to accept being belittled and berated.
