[Biblemat] 1 Peter 4 : 6

Hi ye all
 
In class last Sunday we were discussing the 4th chapter of 1 Peter and we
came to verse 6 and had quite a discussion. We could not  come to any
conclusion as to what Peter was talking about. So I am asking you who are
wise among us. What do you believe that Peter is saying. What was the gospel
that was preached? Who were the dead? What was the judgment? Who was doing
the judging?
I hope that you can help me with this.
