Here is one of many Google responses for "W2 vs 1099."  Locally, we provide
a W2 to our preacher and 1099s to the men we support.  We have a CPA do all
the forms for my signature and they make sure we do all the right things.

Dennis here, 

I moved this last year to another congregation. The past two groups have
given me W-2 's for filing. This group has given 1099's in the past. Which
is the right one and why? I appreciate any one that can help me on this.
