"I’m Sorry"

"I’m Sorry" when said sincerely
Truly meets the approval of God
"I’m sorry" when used as an escape
You’re still guilty of trouble caused!
"I’m sorry" must be preceded with repentance
"Godly sorrow works repentance unto life"
But if insincerely uttered in non repentance
It only adds to the guilt and to the strife!
Only "Godly sorrow worketh repentance"
But "the sorrow of the world brings death"
Just the superficial saying "I’m sorry"
And it may as well have been said in jest!
(2 Corinthians 7:10; Acts 17:30-31)
