Answering Bible Questions
TWO SIMILAR QUESTIONS RECEIVED:
1. Brother Clair will there be a certain number of people in Heaven after
the resurrection?
2. Are the Jehovah’s Witnesses correct about the 144,000 that will inherit
crowns in Heaven?
ANSWER:
The two questions were received at different times indicating that the two
people were not from the same household. The answer to these questions is
puzzling to many people because they do not know the Bible and have
apparently been taught by false teachers from man made religions for answers.
The Bible does GIVE US SOME ANSWERS TO THE TWO QUESTIONS ASKED; THE Bible
is the only source of reliable information about any question pertaining to
that which IT TEACHES. Please note the answer from the Biblical text;
following:
Revelation 7:4-14 - 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed:
and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the
tribes of the children of Israel.
5 Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of
Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve
thousand.
6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of
Nepthali were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve
thousand.
7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi
were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve
thousand.
8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of
Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed
twelve thousand.
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could
number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the
throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their
hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth
upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders
and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and
worshipped Go
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and
honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, what are these which
are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, these are
they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and
made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
CONSIDER THIS:
This context from the Book of Revelation does not teach that 144.000 will
be saved; nor does it teach that the Israelites will have a special place
in heaven ---
NOTE; verses 4-8: The number 12 is considered by Bible commentators and
Bible Scholars as a number of perfection or of completion --- indicating that
a complete number of the faithful under the Law of Moses from each tribe
will be in Heaven.
NOTE ; verses 9-10: From these verses in the Revelation we understand that
the total number is; according to the text “… a great multitude, which no
man could number,” of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues,
stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes,
and palms in their hands;”
NOTE; verses 11-14: From these verses that number in Heaven includes all
the angels of God’s special creation. And others of God’s creation“ …
Rev. 7:11-14 - 11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about
the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces,
and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and
honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever.

CHRIST’S TEACHING ASTONISHED HIS HEARERS: - Matthew 7:28-2
Consider this:
Whenever a persons begins a serious study of the Lord’s teaching; they may
find that Jesus indeed taught about areas of life that cause man to
hesitate about becoming a Christian. Indeed; many people after counting the cost
of becoming and continuing to be faithful turn away just as the rich man in
Luke 12:16-21 - 16 And he spoke a parable unto them, saying, The ground of
a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17 And he thought within
himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my
fruits? 18 And he said, this will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build
greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19 And I will
say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take
thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20 But God said unto him, Thou fool,
this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things
be, which thou hast provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for
himself, and is not rich toward God. KJV
Rather than become discouraged at the hard sayings {i.e. teaching} of
Jesus there ought to be a desire to escape the promised judgment of those that
do not serve God and who will not come to believe and obey Jesus Christ.
Judgment –
cf. 2 Cor. 5:7-11
7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body,
and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted
of him. 10 for we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that
every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he
hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the
Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also
are made manifest in your consciences. --- _glclair at aol.com_
